This week, it is my great pleasure to introduce Kikumaru Eiji for "On board the Karura". We all know Eiji from his efforts to turn the Ice Bar from a staid joint of black suits and criminals to the entertainment centre of the ship.





Happy birthday, Eiji! I also have a present for you if you have a moment to drop by in 3D. I hope you don't mind that I had to raid it from our wonderful doctor's private closet.

Arguing (to himself) that such decorations do not constitute clogging up the corridors since they're not at feet level, Fuji has put these once again all over the ship. One is definitely above the entrance to the Medical Bay, another above the Bridge entrance and one faces Oishi when he leaves his quarters. Others are wherever you (don't) want them. For Halloween, Zaizen and I would like to run a Haunted House for all onboard the Karura.

Tezuka, Shishido... we were thinking the gardens would be the right place for this venture. There would be no obstruction to the corridors and the materials would be 100% recycled. May we go ahead?

Shishido, I am sorry I brought at least three one box of planet cacti aboard. I would have declared the import, but you were strangely nowhere in sight. I have returned the contents to Esman's surface and hidden the ones you didn't catch in my room.

On an entirely unrelated topic, Eiji -- I owe you dinner.

For our third 'On board the Karura', may I introduce our chief medical officer, Oshitari Yuushi. Oshitari-san is well known for dedicatedly treating the rarest to the most mundane ailments for passengers and crew, and his impeccable sense in aesthetics. It is no wonder everyone in the medical bay is in love with our medic.





Due to the request from our killjoy head of security, the cut-outs of Oshitari-san can be seen only in the public rooms, not in the corridors. The exception is one outside the Ice Bar and the two flanking the doors of the medical bay. I have also been requested not to put the posters on the service bots after this week. For this last occasion then, all service bots currently have a Oshitari poster for you to enjoy, front and back.
